1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Just Check In - YoYo application, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

2. Purpose of the App

Just Check In - YoYo is designed as a safety tool to monitor your well-being through periodic check-ins. If you fail to check in within your specified timeframe, the app will automatically notify your designated emergency contacts.

IMPORTANT: Just Check In - YoYo is NOT a replacement for emergency services (e.g., 911). In the event of an immediate emergency, please contact your local emergency services directly.

3. Emergency Contacts

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have permission from your emergency contacts to include their information in the app.
  • Ensuring that the contact information (phone number, name) is accurate and up to date.
  • Understanding that your location and status may be shared with these contacts if an alert is triggered.

4. Service Availability

While we strive for 100% uptime, we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available. Factors such as cellular network connectivity, server maintenance, or battery life on your device may affect the performance of the app.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Just Check In - YoYo or its developers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or any other loss resulting from a failure to send alerts or notifications.
